Shazia Siddiqi, MA, LPC, ATR-BC

Shazia is a Board Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and the Founder of Let’s Art About It, LLC. She earned a dual Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2011 from Wayne State University in Detroit, where she is currently an Adjunct Professor. She is completing her PhD in Business Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Shazia has provided corporate art therapy for corporations including Amazon, Google, Universal Music Group, Mitsubishi, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Accenture, Deloitte, Getty Images, Lululemon, Match, Megafood, DLA Piper, Major League Baseball Network, Vimeo, Henry Ford Health System, and Chief. Additionally, she has extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient individual and group counseling and art therapy at agencies including Corewell (Beaumont) Health, Oakland County Children’s Village, Macomb County Juvenile Justice Center and Juvenile Court, Common Ground, Wolverine Human Services, Southfield Human Services, Samaritan Counseling Center of Southeast Michigan, WSU Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, Kadima Mental Health (Jewish Vocational Service), and Affirmations LGBT+ Center in Ferndale, where she received the Ally of the Year award in 2018.

Beyond her therapeutic roles, Shazia has served as a first responder (EMT) with Cypress Creek EMS in Texas, and at the age of 18 she founded the non-profit corporation MIST (https://www.getmistified.com/) to create a space for Muslim teenagers and allies to foster connection and understanding, self-confidence, creativity, and empathy. While serving as Executive Director for nearly two decades, MIST brought together and empowered 30,000 teens across North America.

 
 

Dr. Galen Buckwalter, Ph.D

Galen is a clinical and research psychologist who developed the first large-scale use of psychometrics to connect people as the founding scientist at eHarmony. Galen has worked in both academia and industry, including research at the Institute for Creative Sciences at USC using VR to develop a resilience training program for Marines. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of one of our partnering organizations, PsyML, a company that delivers deep psychological insight at scale to drive sales and adoption of AI and modern tech products. Their work enables companies to leverage the psychological states people increasingly express online.
